I got my tailgate panel a few weeks earlier than expected which is always nice. I dropped it off at my local Rhino Liner dealer for a coating. Got it back today. Install took about 10 minutes, from start to finish. Love this thing. The only reason I can't give it a Five-star rating is that the panel doors seems to have a slight warp in that when I close it, the left and right sides seem to pop up from the edge. It isn't from the coating because I can actually push them down. To be clear, this isn't something that is going to sink the Titanic. It is just a little off. Other than that, I can't wait to pack it up.

This is a direct fit replacement for the ribbed plastic inner tailgate panel. I used truck bed paint to match the black color of the old panel and added weather-stripping under the door panel to minimize water intrusion. Neither are necessary, though. I believe these panels initially required you to drill holes for the hinge screws, but the one I received was nicely flat and required no drilling. Very happy :-).
Would have preferred if it came painted. Wasn't difficult and don't mind painting it myself. Just had a really hard time crunch and I needed this installed before leaving for vacation.

Quality is not great, they didn’t put rivets in every hole and the rivets they did use are starting to separate. But the product is a super good idea.

Great and easy mod for the Tacoma. Now I'm able to store all my air-up/down gear (hoses, etc.) + assorted tie-down straps inside the tailgate for easy access. Very well built, and a bonus that it locks. Love it and would highly recommend!

Nice product.
great fit (you don't have to drill every recess hole like youtube shows.) high quality. Only small area for improvement is if you don't keep the latches locked they tend to pop open easily. All my ratchet straps and bungee cords are now stored in the tail gate.....very happy
